A new generation rising: The heart behind Global God

A new conference is calling young people to discover their place in God's global mission

There's something stirring among young people in churches across the UK, Ireland, and beyond: a hunger to see God's love reach the far corners of the world. And now, there's a conference designed specifically to fan that flame.

Craig Brotherston, an Elim missionary serving in Estonia, has seen first-hand what happens when young hearts catch a vision for global mission. That's why he and his team are launching Global God, a brand new gathering for youth and young adults aged 14 to 29 who sense that tug toward international ministry but aren't quite sure where to start.

What makes this particularly special is that it's already drawing people from different countries before it's even begun. Young adults are making plans to travel from across the UK, Ireland, and Estonia just to be in the room together. There's something powerful about that kind of momentum: when people are willing to journey toward something before they fully know what it will become.

The vision behind Global God isn't complicated. It's about inspiration and equipping. It's about helping young people see that their desire to make a difference globally isn't naïve or impossible, but something God can actually use. It's about giving them practical tools, honest conversations, and a community of others who share the same dream.

The conference takes place on 31 October and 1 November at Ealing Community Church (W5 4UB). There will be two streams – one for youth and one for young adults – as well as worship, panels, resources and more! It's completely free, all that's needed is to register for tickets and show up ready to listen, learn, and dream about what God might be calling this generation to do.

Please note: If you are aged under 18, you must attend with a youth leader or supervising adult.
